What role do seeds, their longevity and their ability to remain viable during storage play in this process?<\/p>\n<p>These questions will be at the centre of the scientific event <strong>&#8220;Conservation of Forest Genetic Resources \u2013 from Molecular Basis of Seed Longevity to Biodiversity Preservation&#8221;<\/strong>, to be held on <strong>27 October 2026 at the Scientific Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Paris<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting will bring together different fields of research \u2013 from the molecular and physiological mechanisms of seed longevity and plant biology to the conservation of genetic resources and biodiversity.
