The event was organized by the Polish Academy of Sciences Scientific Center in Paris, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Paris and under the patronage of Chambre de Commerce et d\u2019Industrie Polonaise en France (CCIPF). The conference took place as part of the &#8220;Polish Science and Start-Up Days&#8221; (May 23-24, 2024).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The keynote speaker, Zuzanna Stamirowska, PhD, along with participants of panel discussions such as \u201cWhy do we need hubs? Hubs as the essential tool for scientists for turning their research into start-ups\u201d (prof. Christine Huttin, Julien Nicolas, Micha\u0142 Tabisz, Marcin Ratkiewicz), \u201cBiotechnology and Medical Technology &#8211; innovations for health\u201d (Jakub Chwie\u0107ko, PhD, \u0141ukasz Rzeczkowski, Christophe Tallec, Ewa Trojan, PhD) and \u201cGreenTech innovations &#8211; the way towards the sustainable future\u201d (Romain Rebour, St\u00e9phane Batari\u00e8re, Mateusz Maj, PhD, Antoine Dechezlepr\u00eatre. PhD), explored the world of science and the impact of scientists on innovation in the start-up and technology industries.
