On November 28-29, 2024, the COPIN GANIL (COPIGAL) consortium meeting and workshop took place.<\/p>\n
The workshop was dedicated to reviewing the scientific activities of French and Polish physicists within the COPIGAL collaboration. The meeting was a continuation of the cooperation between French and Polish nuclear physicists, which has been ongoing for 15 years within Agreement on the Creation of International (formerly European) Associated Laboratory LIA, named: \u201cThe Collaboration COPIN-GANIL on physics of exotic nuclei COPIGAL.\u201d The goal of the event was to summarize the results of the collaboration to date and to establish the foundations for its continuation.<\/p>\n
The event consisted of five thematic sessions during which researchers from Poland (from the Institute of Nuclear Physics PAN, the University of Warsaw, and the National Centre for Nuclear Research), France (Grand Acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur National d\u2019Ions Lourds, CEA Saclay, Institut pluridisciplinaire Hubert Curien, Universit\u00e9 de Caen Normandie), and the United States (Assumption University) presented their research findings.<\/p>\n
The first day of the meeting concluded with a discussion on the future of the COPIGAL collaboration and new topics that could be explored by researchers in the future. On the second day, following the discussion sessions, the consortium meeting took place, where further steps for the implementation of joint projects were discussed.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
