On 18 September 2025, an event dedicated to Fryderyk Chopin<\/strong> and his connections with George Sand’s house in Nohant \u2013 a place that played a key role in the composer’s personal life and work \u2013 was held at the Polish Academy of Sciences Scientific Center in Paris.<\/p>\n

The event was initiated by the Association des Medecins d’Origine Polonaise de France (AMOPF)<\/strong> in cooperation with our Scientific Center.<\/p>\n

The lecture was given by Urszula Kr\u00f3l \u2013 heritage conservator and curator at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw<\/strong>, a specialist in 19th-century art and the relationship between music, poetry and painting.<\/p>\n

The speaker introduced the audience to the atmosphere of Nohant \u2013 a place that became a substitute for Chopin’s family home, full of care, peace and inspiration. Viewing works of art and memorabilia related to the composer, participants had the opportunity to discover lesser-known aspects of his life and work connected with this unique place.<\/p>\n

The lecture was followed by a piano recital by Cyprian Czaban<\/strong>, a young pianist from Warsaw who lives and studies in Paris. The artist presented works by Fryderyk Chopin, including Ballade in G minor, Op. 23, Barcarolle in F sharp major, Op. 60, and selected Preludes from Op. 28. His interpretations, full of subtlety and emotion, perfectly matched the atmosphere of the evening dedicated to Chopin’s romantic heritage.<\/p>\n

The event attracted considerable interest and was a unique opportunity to learn more about the composer’s life and listen to his music performed by a young, talented artist. Thanks to Urszula Kr\u00f3l and Cyprian Czaban for an unforgettable evening!<\/p>\n\n\t\t
