Maria Sk\u0142odowska-Curie."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"129\" data-end=\"705\">From <strong data-start=\"134\" data-end=\"158\">3 to 5 December 2025<\/strong>, an international educational and academic conference addressed to Polish diaspora teachers, entitled <strong data-start=\"261\" data-end=\"302\">\u201cPoles to the World. Nobel Laureates\u201d<\/strong>, was held in Paris. The project is dedicated to outstanding figures of Polish science and their impact on the development of global scientific thought and education. Inspired by the legacy of <strong data-start=\"495\" data-end=\"521\">Maria Sk\u0142odowska-Curie<\/strong>, the event was organised by the <strong data-start=\"554\" data-end=\"619\">Teacher Training Centre of the \u201cWsp\u00f3lnota Polska\u201d Association<\/strong>, in cooperation with the <strong data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"704\">Polish Academy of Sciences Scientific Centre in Paris<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"707\" data-end=\"916\">The conference was officially opened by <strong data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"770\">Dariusz Bonis\u0142awski<\/strong>, President of the \u201cWsp\u00f3lnota Polska\u201d Association, and <strong data-start=\"825\" data-end=\"857\">Professor Jerzy Przyborowski<\/strong>, Rector of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"1354\">The central focus of the first day consisted of presentations devoted to the legacy of Maria Sk\u0142odowska-Curie. The speakers highlighted both the significance of her discoveries for the development of medicine and the social and educational dimensions of her work. Particular attention was given to her role as a symbol of intellectual courage and an enduring source of inspiration for future generations. The lectures were delivered by:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1356\" data-end=\"1791\">\n<li data-start=\"1356\" data-end=\"1517\">\n<p data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1517\"><strong data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1386\">Professor Marek Krawczyk<\/strong>, Full Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Dean of the Fifth Division of Medical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1518\" data-end=\"1601\">\n<p data-start=\"1520\" data-end=\"1601\"><strong data-start=\"1520\" data-end=\"1548\">Professor Marek Rudnicki<\/strong>, Chair of the Council of the SWP Health Foundation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1602\" data-end=\"1706\">\n<p data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1706\"><strong data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1629\">Zuzanna \u0141acny<\/strong>, <strong>PhD Eng.<\/strong>, Specialist at the Polish Academy of Sciences Scientific Centre in Paris<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1707\" data-end=\"1791\">\n<p data-start=\"1709\" data-end=\"1791\"><strong data-start=\"1709\" data-end=\"1732\">Barbara Go\u0142\u0119biowska<\/strong>, Director of the Maria Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Museum in Warsaw<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1793\" data-end=\"2343\">On the second day, participants took part in a panel discussion devoted to inspirations drawn from the biographies of eminent scientists. The panel featured <strong data-start=\"1950\" data-end=\"1982\">Professor Jerzy Przyborowski<\/strong> (University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn), <strong data-start=\"2029\" data-end=\"2052\">Barbara Go\u0142\u0119biowska<\/strong> (Maria Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Museum), and <strong data-start=\"2090\" data-end=\"2122\">Professor Jolanta \u015awiatowska<\/strong> (CNRS). This was followed by workshops and lectures on modern teaching methods, STEM education, interdisciplinarity, and the use of new technologies and artificial intelligence in education, led by <strong data-start=\"2321\" data-end=\"2342\">Sylwia Toporowska<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2345\" data-end=\"2564\">The programme of the second day was further enriched by study visits to the <strong data-start=\"2421\" data-end=\"2433\">Sorbonne<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"2442\" data-end=\"2454\">Panth\u00e9on<\/strong>, offering participants an opportunity to become more familiar with France\u2019s academic and historical heritage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2566\" data-end=\"2761\">The final day of the conference was dedicated to the summary and official closing of the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2763\" data-end=\"3124\">The conference <strong data-start=\"2778\" data-end=\"2819\">\u201cPoles to the World.
