On Friday, September 20, 2024, an international conference titled “Current Challenges in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Selected Endocrinopathies” took place at the Polish Academy of Sciences Scientific Center in Paris. The event was co-organized by Prof. Artur Bossowski from the Medical University of Białystok. Partners in the event included Université Paris Cité and The Copernicus Institute for the Arts, Sciences, and Law of New England.
The conference program covered the following topics:
- detection and treatment of thyroid cancer, adrenal, and pituitary diseases;
- the use of modern molecular and radiological tests, immunological and radical therapy, as well as modern surgery and radioablation;
- care and monitoring of oncology patients;
- new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies used in selected endocrine issues in children and adults.
The event was open to both experienced and young scientists. Researchers up to 35 years old had the opportunity to participate and present their research results during the poster session.
The aim of the conference was to promote health and facilitate Polish-French cooperation in medicine, creating a platform for the exchange of experience between the Polish and French scientific communities.
The conference resulted in the publication of a book of abstracts containing abstracts of all the researchers who participated in the conference.
