The role of Artificial Intelligence in clinical practice, medical education, and research

The conference will focus on the latest trends in the use of artificial intelligence in medicine, covering everything from education and scientific research to everyday clinical practice. Bringing together experts from the medical, scientific, technological and legal communities, the event will create a space for interdisciplinary knowledge and experience sharing.

The programme will feature panel sessions dedicated to specific clinical specialties, such as neurology, oncology, cardiology and gynaecology, as well as cross-cutting topics related to ethics, medical education and biotechnology. Particular attention will be paid to evaluating the effectiveness and safety of implemented AI solutions, as well as their social, organisational, and legal implications.

The conference aims to present current solutions and trends in the development of AI in healthcare, initiate new research projects and strengthen existing cooperation programmes between the academic and clinical communities. This event is part of the ‘Quality Improvement in Medicine and Global Health’ conference series organised by the Copernicus Institute for the Arts, Sciences and Law of New England since 2018.

Addressing the challenges of modern medicine in the context of dynamic digital transformation and the growing role of new technologies in the healthcare system, the conference has an interdisciplinary focus.

The conference will be held in English.
