Polish Tech Day is an event aimed at startups seeking for international connections and investors. The event orchestrates engaging networking sessions, providing participants with the chance to showcase their ventures to potential investors and forge strategic partnerships.

On March 23, one of these impactful meetings unfolded at the headquarters of Iliad Group in Paris. The collaborative effort of numerous partners, including the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Paris, La French Tech, Boston Consulting Group, Scaleway and the Polish Academy of Sciences Scientific Center in Paris, brought together nearly 80 participants. Among them were representatives from 10 startups specializing in areas such as deeptech, greentech and medtech. Esteemed investors from Teampact Ventures, Seedrs, Future Positive Capital, WeLike and Daphni comprised the panel evaluating the event.

The meeting commenced with an insightful interview featuring Karim Wadye Oumoussa from Seedrs. Subsequent to this, startup representatives delivered impactful presentations, followed by a series of questions from the audience. The event also featured compelling panel discussions: the first, led by Scaleway and Astrain, delved into “How to create a cybersecurity startup?”, while the second, titled “Tech 4 Good: How technology helped provide 110,000 nights of shelter for Ukrainian refugees?”, was facilitated by Boston Consulting Group and BCG Platinion. The event reached its culmination with the announcement of winners and a networking session, fostering an environment for establishing meaningful collaborations.

As part of the event, participants seized valuable opportunities:

  • Engaging in exclusive meetings with potential investors and receiving tailored feedback,
  • Participating in dynamic networking sessions with potential partners and investors,
  • Amplifying visibility within the local technological ecosystem,
  • Sharing insights and experiences during panel discussions and thematic sessions.

The overarching goal of the program was to nurture collaboration, empowering startups to connect with the local technological community and the broader startup ecosystem while fostering new and impactful business relationships. Additionally, this event served as a prelude to upcoming gatherings in London and Warsaw.
